(East Bound Sepulveda just before Alameda overpass) Sheriff's Motorcycle parks blacked out up on the side-walk typically behind a phone poll. You do not see him until you are up on him.
(West bound Sepulveda ontop of Alameda overpass)Sheriff's motorcycle sits facing east. He hides along the K-barrier. Very difficult to see until you are ontop of him.

Figueroa Street near Lomita Boulevard   Carson, California

The speed limit is 40 MPH and is posted only at Sepulvida Blvd and Lomita Blvd. There are no cross street and only occasional cars entering from parking lot. This is a long streach of unblocked road, normal traffic speed is 50 MPH. You can see the officer sitting next to the curb, he does not try to hide, but most people do not think they are speeding, and get ticketed.
