Schoharie, New York Speed Traps
Route 30 going South just at the edge of the village
The Schoharie Village police sit in a little pull off on the North bound lane, they clock speeders leaving the village going South and just coming into the village going North. The speed limit changes from 55 to 40 just over the knoll going North bound.
State Route 30 near Bridge Street
Fairly aggressive local law enforcement on both ends of the village. 50,40,and 30 mph zones. The speed zones change pretty quick. Monday night is court night, see how many people are standing in line. Time to watch….. 3-8 pm Getting the working guy heading home.
Interstate 88 near Exit Number 22-26
During tourist season, there are troopers at most of the "no u-turn" spots. Keep it under to above the limit and you are okay. Limit is 65mph
Interstate 88 near Mile Marker 103
Heading West Bound, be careful when going under the last under pass. Troppers are always waiting to catch you while they are sitting in the grass.
