Glen Ave between the bridge and South Reynolds

Scotia, New YorkMar 03, 20100 Comments

The Scotia Police have new cars, they are gray in color and blend in well with the surroundings. I have spotted them parked along Glen Ave with the rest of the cars. They will get you after you pass them. You do not think about them hiding there. They will stop you for just about anything, like not coming to a complete stop at the stop signs.

Swaggertown Rd.

As you are traveling on Swagertown Rd., from Rt 50 toward Baldwin Ave. the police sit on Iroquois Path with radar. Iroquois Path has tree cover to conceal the police car.

Spring Rd. at Maura Lane

As you are traveling on Spring Rd., Maura Lane is at a point of Spring Rd. that is long and flat and it is tempting to speed. Maura Lane is concealed by trees and the police sit back on Maura Lane, you wont see them until its too late.

Washington Avenue near Railroad overpass

Scotia, New YorkFeb 12, 20082 Comments

Scotia Police sit in the parking lot of the condominiums on Washington Avenue waiting for you to come form Route 50. YOU do the corner slow and then normally accelerate to the next intersection while they watch and then they come out. YOU don’t even notice them in the parking lot when you pass.

State Route 5 near Western Gateway Bridge

Scotia Police wait at the western end of the bridge hiding at the side pointing eastbound. The speed limit on the bridge is 40 and goes down to 30 as soon as you cross it. They are usually there early in the morning (3-6 am) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
