Brandywine Avenue past Mendocino Dr toward Shinohara Lane

Chula Vista, CaliforniaMar 06, 20150 Comments

Southbound on Brandywine Ave, the speed limit is posted at only 35 MPH, but due to the road’s downhill slope and slanted feature, you will easily go 45-50 MPH by just letting your car roll. CVPD motorcycle officers cross the middle of the street and direct drivers to pull over onto Shinohara Lane. Two officers work together using Radar in catching “speeders” with their motorcycles hidden from view on Brandywine Avenue. Thursdays seems to be the most times where CVPD motorcycle cops ticket drivers. However, it can occur at anytime and a majority of drivers get ticketed on Brandywine going southbound onto Main Street. 35 MPH SPEED TRAP!

West bound on H St. right before you hit the otay lakes road

Chula Vista, CaliforniaJun 05, 20120 Comments

Traveling west bound on H St. right before you hit Otay Lakes Road by SWC is a DECLINE! It’s common sense that every single person traveling on this road whether on foot, car, or even a bicycle will pick up speed because of the downhill. The city knows this and the cop doesn’t give drivers time to naturally adjust to the increase in speed. Also, very ridiculous, the cop will stand on the side of the road and very stupidly walk out in front of your car as your driving down this hill and make you pull over. I’m surprised he hasn’t been hit by someone. Get on your motorcycle and properly pull someone over lazy cops. He’s a pedestrian an very stupidly will step out into the street. I’m gonna go videotape this clown and embarrass the Chula Vista Police Department and use the footage as evidence when I go to court. EVERYONE should.
