Avon, Ohio Speed Traps

Local and state police are frequently present on this stretch of I-90 especially during AM

The road is 25 mph but most people drive 35-45 since it is not clearly posted and appears to be a country road.

They sit at the Great Escapes on the South end of MIller.

Avon Cops will sit in the South parking lot near the corner of Detroit and Garden Dr and look for speeders especially during school hours where the speed gets reduced from 35 to 20. This is right by Avon Elementary on Detroit Road.

Careful – I see the Avon PD regularly patrolling this stretch of Lear Nagle Road on a frequent basis: especially since it is only 25 mph, so BE careful! Also my DH sees an Avon PD car using radar in the elementary school parking lot. (Note: that Lear Nagle is a 25 mph zone ONLY between Detroit and Schwartz Roads!!!)
