Bay Village, Ohio Speed Traps
Bassett Rd. just north of RR tracks
Cop will sit at night in the driveway to Cross Roads Church with no lights on whatsoever. Very difficult to see until you’re right next to him. Bassett is a long stretch of straight, flat roadway from I-90 up through Wolf Road. Easy to go 40+, but 35 is enforced.
Lake Road near Cahoon Road
Bay Village Police vehicles sit in several places: in parking lot of walking track, just west of Cahoon, up on hill over by Rose Hill Museum east of Cahoon. Also like to sit in service drive just east of Cahoon Rd. on north side of Lake Rd. They like to get folks who are in a hurry to get to work or coming home from work. Speed limit is 35 – most people go 40. They also drive with laser on dash checking oncoming traffic. If you are going too fast they will turn around and give you a ticket (been there).
Krebbs Rd
Police hide as close to the border of Bay Village and Avon Lake as possible.
