They like to sit in the entry to the cemetery south of the downtown area on Rt. 61, right where the speed limit changes from 50 to 35 so be sure you’re doing 35 BEFORE you hit the speed change.
Berlin Road near Mason Road
Berlin Heights police like to sit along Berlin Rd just as you pass Mason Rd going south and head upthe hill into town. Then once you continue down the hill on the other side they sit also. All on the right side. As you approach Hill Rd they sit on the leFort Basically once you pass Mason you better watch you P’s and Q’s until you get past Hill and head towards 113.

The prevailing speed limit on this state highway is mphhowever, between these two road it is 50 mph. The officers are often sitting on State Route 61 at the corner of 113 to catch speeders.

This is an intersection where St. Rte. 113 goes straight and 61 turns in to the Village of Berlin Heights. At the intersection there is an old empty lot that truckers sometimes use on the north side of the road. Berlin Hts. police often sit there or Sheriff, just waiting for you to mess up. If you are going west on 113 the speed limit is 50 but if you are going east the speed limit is 55. Be careful. More than 2 miles over and you are done. This area also has lots of orchards so sometimes visability is difficult until it is too late.
