Boston Heights, Ohio Speed Traps
State Route 8
This not really a new trap, but be very careful in the rt 8 and 303 exit area. I have seen them pop up on the grassy hill between rt 8 and the on ramp going north.

The cop sits between the northbound and southbound lanes right before the concrete barrier begins when you’re traveling southbound.
State Route Old Rt 8 near Mattews Thomas Park
Boston Heights patrols Old Route 8 with radar constantly on motorists. They mainly sit in Matthews Thomas Park south of the Turnpike. It is a Mayor Court town which mean all of the money goes to the town unlike county court were they just get a just a percentage of the money. Boston Height relies on 35 percent of the towns budget from tickets. They will pull you over for going one mile over the limit of 35 MPH.

Boston Heights made the cover of LOOK magazine in the early 60’s as being the worst speedtrap in the US. Nothing has changed. In 1968, I was pulled over by BHPD driving a 440 Dodge Coronet with a Hurst 4 speed gearbox. They ticket on both "new" and "old" State Route 8.
