The local sheriff is issuing “No front Plate” tickets to obvious out of towners. While he was writing my ticket I pointed out 2 cars w/o front plates and he responded “I won’t write them up, they are locals”.

Placer County Sheriff permanantly stationed to area for speed enforcement only. I drive the route several times a day and rarely do not see him in the area.
