Brook Park, Ohio Speed Traps
Brookpark Rd and W 140th St
A Brook Park police car is in an unmarked car at the intersection in the car lot
Rt. 237 North, between Airport entrance and Rt. 17 exit
I got caught today (Mar. 22) between the overpass leading to the airport and the exit for Route 17 (Brookpark Road).
To be honest, I deserved what I got, but I feel compelled to warn anybody who might not know: This portion of 237 is only 50mph, not the usual 60mph or 70mph.
The cop that caught me was hiding right after the overpass leading to the airport and just before the building in the trainyard on the right side. He was hiding in the bushes like f**king Carlos Hathcock – very difficult to spot until he put his lights on.
Be careful.
I-480 near W. 150th St.
This is a fairly new trap for BPPD. They have a very small stretch of I-480 between 130th St. and the airport. I estimate they must catch at least five people on average per day here.
Snow Rd. near Airport
BPPD love to catch unsuspecting motorists just as they exit I-71 onto Snow Rd. by the airport. Beware, anything above 45 mph is not tolerated.
