Centerville Police are often parked and using radar at the Vectren office at Clyo and Bigger Road or the Kettering Health Network “Years Ahead Health Center” at 6661 Clyo Road. They also monitor traffic on Clyo Road just south of Alex Bell Road, sometimes parking in the median areas or on the corner of a side street off of Clyo Road with active radar.

Going west on Alex Bell, going up the hill just past Clyo, Centerville’s finest sits in the little driveway behind Fortes College in a car and motor cycle.

I-675 between I-75 and 48 (Exit 4)

Centerville, OhioJun 29, 20120 Comments

Enforcement by aircraft using marks on either side of the road, plus laser, radar, and pacing. Police wait within about 1 mile of 48 (Main Street/Far Hills Ave, Exit 4) where there are many many turnarounds so they can get back into position quickly after writing the ticket. In warm months there are several motorcycle cops who hide in the shade of overpasses.

In front of the mansion accross from Five Seasons

Centerville, OhioFeb 13, 20120 Comments

Both Sugarcreek Police and Centerville police park in the driveway where that mansion is. Watch out too if you flash your lights to warn other drivers, they will get you obstruction of official police business. I got busted ORC 2921.31, $250.

Bigger Road Between Clyo and Hewitt

Centerville, OhioApr 12, 20110 Comments

This is the part of Bigger Road that is the bridge over I-675.
Just on the edge of Centerville city limits, the Revenue Enhancement Patrol (CPD) sits at either end of this bridge and easily nails people breaking the hard to maintain 35 mph limit.
Most people actually get pulled over and ticketed in Kettering (the next town) as they are leaving Centerville traveling north on Bigger Rd. Another tiny local government cash-grab.
