West 140th St. between I-90 and Triskett Ave. Cleveland, Ohio

They hide on a side street, "shooting" radar and laser from the side street. My ticket was for 45 in a 35 zone. They are getting desperate for that little over the limit, which I wasn't even going 45. The ticket indicated it was on W. 140th and Bidwell Avenue.

Route 2 east where it merges to 90 east after downtown Cleveland, Ohio

There have been motorcycle cops and two squad cars on the right side of the highway at the bend when the left lane ends. These 3-4 policemen have been working double-time every morning this week pulling over cars for speeding . The speed limit is 50mph but flow of traffic is closer to 65mph.

Between E. 30th and E. 18th and Superior Ave. Cleveland, Ohio

Unmarked black police car with camera on dashboard sits between the stretch of E. 30th and E.18th street. He rotates either side of the street. He will not only snap your picture and you receive the $100 prize in the mail, but he will also chase you down and pull you over too. He's multi-talented!!! He's there at anytime of the morning or afternoon to catch you on your way to work, on your lunch hour, and going home.

West 25th across from Lutheran Hospital Cleveland, Ohio

This area has a mobile speed camera in an unmarked police car that is randomly setup. It is usually, deployed during morning rush hour M-F for inbound city traffic. Speed zone is 25mph

I-480 and I-71 Cleveland, Ohio

There are devices along both highways that emit radar signals intermitantly. They are mounted on the corners (mostly R/H) of overhead road signs. You can see small solar panels that provide power, They are meant to set off radar detectors and frustrate motorists who use them. It's a "Cat and Mouse" game to lighten your wallet folks.
