Heading North on 44 out of E Canton near the 55MPH sign   East Canton, Ohio

You see the sign that says the speed limit is 55. The cop pulls you over, apologizes and says - 'I'm sorry I hate to have to do this but...' and gives you a ticket for going 45. Increasing your speed when you reach the 55 MPH sign is not allowed until you have passed the sign. At least not while this village is counting on your donation to make payroll.

Lisbon St NE & E Nassau St   East Canton, Ohio

There was another posting on this same speed trap that was accurate. The officer will park just inside the city limit where the speed changes from 35 to 55 mph. As you crest the hill going east bound and are accelerating to get up to 55, he gets you. He will set off to the side of the road or use one of the local driveways.

N Wood St & Maplebrook St NE   East Canton, Ohio

This is an area that I frequently spot East Canton's finest. As you are leaving the town heading North on State Route 44, they will set off to the left near an oil well. The speed changes from 35 mph to 55 mph. There is a slight grade that does a nice job in concealing their position. Please be aware. They will not let you off with a warning.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
