Forest, Ohio Speed Traps
Entire Village of Forest
All of the state highways coming into this rural village are now speed traps. There is a new deputy who is issuing as many citations as possible. He even sits and watches for you to slightly roll a stop sign.
State Route 37
On the north end of the village, Route 37 becomes somewhat rural but has a posted speed limit of 35 mph. The local police sit in residential driveways and at a business on the edge of town. Very easy to exceed the limit both entering and leaving the corporation limit.
State Route 37 near W. Gage Street
Police sit in a business drive at the north edge of town. The speed limit changes from 55mph to 35mph right where they sit. They get traffic both coming and going from the town. They will stop you for only 5mph over the limit.
State Route 53 South near Daisy Street
Forest police sit at the NAPA store parking lot and monitor people going out of town or nail them coming into town
