Harveysburg, Ohio Speed Traps

On State Route 73 from the Warren/Clinton County line to the entrance to Caesar Creek State Park there are several places that The Harveysburg Police hide. First, there is the little outpost they have created at the entrance to the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Next when SR 73 becomes a 4 lane highway they sit where it is too late to see them if you are speeding. Next there is the Car Wash on SR 73. After all that, Park Officers, State Police and even the Warren County Sheriff hide out in the entrance to the picnic area. Beware as almost everyday I am on this part of SR 73 I see some unsuspecting boater/Tourist (who come from all over the place mind you)being ticketed. CAUTION in this area!

There is a stretch of SR 73 between Old Harveysburg Rd and the entrance to Caesar Creek State Park that is heavily patrolled by both the Harveysburg Police Dept and the Park Rangers that traps speeders, mainly boaters and other tourists going to the lake. Even the Warren County Sheriff gets in the act. Be careful.

Small community uses State Route 73 to generate funds to keep Police Department and town going. Village marcenaries sit hiding in a lot for boat storage/ car wash. By the time you see the toy coppers you are finished. They will allow 8mph over the limit, which are posted. Challenge your citation from the Mayors (corrupt)Court and have moved to the County Court in Lebanon for a realistic chance of fairness.
