One Saturday morning in July I was driving North on Sr 73. It was a misty overcast morning and traffic was light. I had my cruise control set on 60 mph. when I met a State Trooper. He immediatly turned, came up behind me and pulled me over. He said that he had clocked me at 68 mph. I explained that I had my cruise set at 60 and did not believe I was going that fast. He explained to me that he had been doing this job for thirty years and could tell by just looking at a car if it was speeding. And I was definalely speeding. Plus that I didn’t have my lights on. The entire area around Hillsboro is a speed trap. As many as three State Troopers live in the immediate vicinity. Population 5000.
