On State Route 306 and Eagle Road   Kirtland, Ohio

If you are headed north on 306, be careful; because there is a hill after Eagle Road and the cops are always patrolling that area. It's easy to go over the posted limit of 35 when going down the hill. Actually be careful all the way through the city while driving. A lot of places to get caught.

Kirtland Chardon Road near Booth Road   Kirtland, Ohio

Kirtland PD hides in hidden driveways of residence, the fire station, and mutiple metro park locations. Kirtland PD must turn their vehicles off and run radar multiple times during their 8 hour shifts. Kirtland Chardon Rd has a downhill grade if coming from Chardon.

State Highway 84 near Chillicothe Road   Kirtland, Ohio

As one travels Eastbound or Westbound on State Route 84 through Mentor, there are 2 areas where one also drives through Kirtland Hills. One of these is at the SR 84 & Chillicothe Road Intersection. Eastbound on 84 JUST past the light is a driveway. Kirtland cops LOVE to sit there and pull people over (who are travelling through Mentor, and happen to pass through the .3 miles of Kirtland Hills or whatever it is). This is because they have virtually no crime in their city, so they fill their quota by exploiting the fact that a corner of KH just out into Mentor at that spot. ESPECIALLY heavy patrols late-night/rush hour. Same scenario just WEST of that intersection @ SR 84 & Little Mountain. They sit in the Marathon Station at the corner. Speed limit is 35 both places. KH WILL pull you over for 2MPH over.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
