East Gambier St (SR 229) about 1/2 mi east of Main st.   Mount Vernon, Ohio

They will clock cars by radar 2-3 b;ocks beyond the last place of business then claim they violated the 25 mph speed limit in the "Business district" There are no speed limit signs within a mile.

The cops sit in the medical offices and get you coming down the hill.

Verndale Street near Hillcrest Drive   Mount Vernon, Ohio

At Verndale and Hillcrest, continuing on down the hill to the next intersection at the bottom of the very steep hill, officers sit in the medical office parking lot. Yet, when you complain about other areas nearby that are even worse and where kids are playing, they refuse to moniter traffic when citizens request extra patrol.
