Speed limit is 45 as you approach city limit. There is no “reduced speed ahead” sign. There is a small 35 mph sign hidden in the trees along the street near Hepner Ave. The first open and easily visible sign is 2 or 3 blocks further east.

An officer sits in the old Dairy Queen parking lot M-F across from the elementary school during school zone hours. Everyday I pass thru there, and there is either someone being ticketed or someone being pursed thru the school zone.

Officer are every where facing both east and west on Main Street and North and South on Clayton Rd. They will stop you and give you a citation, and there is a 100% chance they will ask to search your car. If you say no to the search they have a dog that they will use to try and rid the world of Marijuana one gram at a time. Just sign for your citation and get out of town (run like hell).
