Summit Rd. SW ( Near Licking Heights Schools)
The area of Summit Road SW in Pataskala — Between Broad Street and the RR tracks. This is a school zone area from the hours of 7am-4pm with very Few, poorly placed signs. Other times this is, I believe, a 35 MPH zone. However, the road is Unmarked the entire stretch from Broad St. to Cleveland Rd. (for the 35mph). Cops are aware that the signage is poor and the city has agreed to install new signage. One sign has been added. The “End School Zone” sign southbound on Summit before the Sunoco. Before 02/01/10 that sign didn’t even exist. Be careful in this area!!! Cops like to sit behind bushes and outside of private homes and they are not leniant on this area At All!!!
There isn’t even a marked crosswalk in this area for the children—even though we have multiple schools on this road with children as young as elementary and all the way up.
Be Careful!!!
Summit Road near Graham Road
Pataskala cop sets in private drive with lights off car so you don’t see him until your lights hit his car. Then he waits for you to go by then starts car and follows you then puts on his lights to pull you over. Speed limit is 35mph but it is a straight county road that should alease be 45 if not 50mph. And you cant talk your way out of it either and they wont show you radar so its your work against his. so you lose.
