Sheffeld Village, Ohio Speed Traps

If you go through this speed trap town, there are many areas where you can get caught. One of the main areas is a stretch off of West River Rd. turning West toward Lorain. They HIDE in the brushes between Lorain Metro Parks and a Commercial Pipe Coating business called Encoat. They will catch you going East or West bound. The speed Limit is 25 MPH but feels like you can go faster since it opens up into a 4 lane resurfaced road. This small hick town has a brand New City Hall-Police Station-and Fire Department which can be seen on the corner of Rt. 611 and West River Rd. Guess who paid for it! All the travelers going past this small town. They have a population of about 1200 but have 12 New police vehickles with radar in front and back. They are noted for hiding behind bushes – Cowards. No real crime – but gotta pay fer the New buildings and new vehicles.

Police cars regularly sit in the Giant Eagle shopping center and clock north and southbound cars on Abbe Rd. Sheffield Village is a small town–be careful, you will get a ticket. 51 in a 35mph zone = $110.
