Hudson-Aurora Road   Streetsboro, Ohio

On Hudson-Aurora Road between Streetsboro and Aurora, the Streetsboro police will hide in private driveways (isn't that illegal?) and in the State park driveway. In addition, they patrol this road at all times of the day. When they pull you over, they will give you a ticket and don't want to hear any excuses. Speed limit is posted at 35 but it probably should be 45, another reason why they patrol this road all the time. It is definitely designed to be a revenue generator and not because of safety reasons. Be careful on this road because it is very easy to go faster than 35.

State Highway State Route 14 near Diagonal Rd. Road   Streetsboro, Ohio

Streetsboro city cops are usually facing west and catch people coming down hill towards redlight at horse farm. Also catch people going west as the speedlimit changes from 50 to 40 m.p.h.

Route 80 Turnpike near Interstate 480   Streetsboro, Ohio

Ok...for those of you who drive on Route 80..the "paid" turnpike (I say that sarcastically because in my opinion if you're paying to ride on a road the cops should leave you be), you know what I'm about to talk about.

As you take Rt 80 towards Streetsborough, you will see a few traps. This one in particular will get you: As you get onto Rt 80 from 480 you will climb a huge hill (after you pass the long bridge. Right above this hill will be a cop on the right ready to nail you. I drive this every weekday and would say the cops are there 80% of the time. And there IS a bridge above this spot providing the very real possibility of a scout cop looking down the hill...and getting a speed reading and radioing down to his buddy.

HEED this warning...Hope this saves someone a ticket

State Route 303   Streetsboro, Ohio

The entire 15-mile stretch of Rt. 303 between Windham and Streetsboro is designed to be a trap, the speed limit changes from 55 to 45 and back several times with little or no warning, and State Highway Patrol drive back and forth, waiting to catch you doing 55 in a 45. The worst spot is between Cooley Rd and Rt. 44. They will wait on Cooley Rd (where the speed limit suddenly changes), Peck Rd, or by the light at 44, and get you. The area by Rt 700 is bad too, because their station is about 1/4 mile from there. Sheriffs patrol the area heavily too, but are less likely to pull you over for something stupid. the worst time by far is at night, but it happens all times of the day. Beware of rt 303!

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
