Vista Del Mar, South of Grand Ave   El Segundo, California

Just after the Chevron Gas station in El Porto and after the "S" curve the cop (Officer Chen) hits you with Laser RADAR. The speed imit is 45 mph and I think they start writing you up after 55 mph. El Segundo PD notes this site as Station #1. You will be pulled over at the entrance to the Scattered good station. The fine as of June, 2010 is $357.00.

Interstate 105 W to Interstate 405 S Ramp   El Segundo, California

When entering the I-405S from the I-105W there is a Tunnel that goes underneath the freeway that you must pass through. A cop awaits there and you cannot know until you exit the tunnel and use your rear view mirror. Lots of people speed going through there. Watch out next time you decide to speed up.

There are two on Douglas, one is west side of Douglas by Coral circle the other is also west side of Douglas near Maiposa.

Sepulveda Blvd. at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport)   El Segundo, California

Police officer on motorbike on southbound at 96th Street. Same cop also waits on the northbound just as you come out of the tunnel. Got a ticket yesterday on northbound.

California Street and E. Imperial Highway   El Segundo, California

When exiting the 105 West onto Imperial Highway. A driver is exiting from the freeways regular speed of 65 mph to 50 mph. The speed limit is too low when exiting. Imagine going 70mph on the 50 mph street zone. You are already going 20mph over the speed limit within a short distance! Especially if you are going downhill onto the street. Then there are police just to the right of you when exiting.
