At night the cops will often sit in the driveway of the Public Storage facility or other nearby businesses to catch people speeding up for the merge from two lanes to one before the crest of the hill and before the light at Allview. Occasionally (usually earlier in the evening) they will wait on opposite side of the street in the senior center parking lot.

Marie A. Murphy Elementary School Parking Lot on Valley View Road   El Sobrante, California

Officers will often park their cruisers in Marie A. Murphy Elementary School's parking lot catching speeders going up the hill. It's almost hard to see them right up until the point when it is too late.

Officer sits at the end of Keith Drive where it T's with Valley View trying to catch people coming over the peak and starting down hill.
