Interstate 70 near State Route 142   West Jeffereson/Columbus, Ohio

Going eastbound toward Columbus, just after you go under the State Route 142 overpass (exit number 85, Plain City), there is a sweeping curve as you cross the Big Darby Creek. Just after the small bridge, there is an "emergency vehicle turn around" in the median. I travel this route at least twice a week now (usually on the weekends), and used to travel this route daily, and I have regularly seen an OSHP patrol car there (sometimes two). The speed limit is the normal 65, and they usually aren't too strict, as I generally go past at about 70 (once at 75, and I was very surprised that I didn't get pulled over), but once I was pulled over, going under 65 because the roads were a little slick, for reasons other than speeding. I have only seen them clocking eastbound drivers here, probably because westbound drivers have a long, clear line of sight to the spot where they sit.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
