Hwy 101 northbound turns 90 degrees as it changes from Broadway to 5th Street. Radar is commonly setup to catch drivers accelerating out of that corner. Speed limit is 30 mph, although the street is 3 lanes wide and one-way.

CHP likes to hang out at the College of the Redwoods exit and nab anyone who may be speeding off of the large hill before the exit (Northbound) or gaining speed to challenge this hill (Southbound).
