Grove, Oklahoma Speed Traps

OHP sits just outside city limits on Cherokee, before you get to the T at 270 road. They are there a LOT considering all the other places in the state they could be checking…here we are the meth capital of the world and the state police spend their time checking if the retirees at the lake are going 5mph over.

Officer waits on side street after speed limit drops from 40 to 25 mph. Coming from the post office at 40 mph you encounter the 25 mph at the top of a downgrade. Gently braking and letting the engine slow the car doesn’t get it to 25 mph before you are at the bottom of the grade…where the officer is shooting his radar gun.

Officer was hidden behind trees after I crossed bridge. He said I was going 54 mph in 45 mph zone. I was not going more then 47 mph.

I was crossing bridge going into Bernice heading west, local Sherrif car was hidden behind trees and stopped for going 54 mph in 45 mph zone. I was going a max of 47 mph.

They wait at the top of the hill from honey creek bridge in Grove and get you as the speed limit drops too fast.
