South of Gas Station & Strip Mall on West side of road just right after the Utility Outlet is a short pull-in of concerte with fairly heavy brush & trees hanging right before the bridge where OSD hides a patrol vehicle &/or Mtr. Cycle to speed trap people. It is not too far from where the speed limits change from 45 to 55. Slow down & obey postings and it will not be a problem!

Harrah Road near Between South Reno & 10th Street Crossing

Harrah, OklahomaNov 13, 20070 Comments

When coming south out of town (Harrah) just over the hill where the speed limit changes to 45 to just past Reno where the speed goes back up to 55 mph is constantly highly patroled! We live front Harrah Rd. in this area and see people all day & night long being stopped. People want to speed through here because it is a 4 lane HWY & open, but they mean business! (A lost out of state visitor was stopped twice in a 5 minute span by 2 different patrol vehicles; one Harrah Police & the other OSD/OHP.) Warning: The posting of 45 mph means that! Slow down for everyones safety!

Speed limit on most sections of this road is 65 mph. Three miles east of Harrah the speed is reduced to 45 mph and is monitored by the Oklahoma County Sheriffs dept. The speed limit is increased to 55 mph when you reach the Harrah City limits. The section at 45 mph is rural and not populated.
