Hamilton/Wentworth regional police cruise this stretch of road between Brant County Line and Copetown Road. I have seen use of 2-way radar in moving patrol cars, sometimes sitting at the side of the highway with hazards flashing early in the morning. When dark , they will also sit in a driveway on the north side of the road near Copetown Road , Also they will stand at the bend near the entrance to Heron Point / Old Knights Beach Rd. / and shoot that with a hand held gun.

Police wait in Ziggy’s Car Repair Garage, either in car or on foot holding radar gun. Speed limit changes from 80 Km. to 70 Km. through village of Alberton. Are there often. Police also sometimes wait about 1 KM. east of Alberton along the road, either side.
