US Hwy 199 & Middle Fork Gasquet Rd
On Hwy 199, just west of the tunnel a couple miles into California from Oregon. The CHP has found a lucrative spot to park on the west exit from the tunnel. This is a wide sweeping downgrade and very easy to exceed the 55MPH speed limit when coming out of the tunnel. I have been ticketed here and, along with others have seen the CHP parked here frequently.
