Motorcycle LAPD officer sits on the corners on the opposite side of speed change and radars drivers just before the speed limit change.

Nugent St. betwn Louise/Mayerling, south of Frost Jr. High

Granada Hills, CaliforniaAug 03, 20100 Comments

Right after the stop sign at Regency and Nugent, heading south on Nugent. A squad car uses a private driveway, where it is hidden by tall bushes, or around the corner, where it is not easily seen. They usually stop people for California rolls, so be careful.

Rinaldi eastbound between Woodley and Haskell

Granada Hills, CaliforniaJul 21, 20101 Comments

12:30 afternoon, Tuesday July 20…Going eastbound on Rinaldi. Was speeding but slowed down, then I saw a motorcycle cop hiding in the shade behind a parked car before Haskell. I didn’t get caught but it looked like he was waiting for people speeding to get to I-5.

Louise Avenue just north of Devonshire

Granada Hills, CaliforniaJun 15, 20100 Comments

Across the street from Patrick Henry Middle School, a motorcycle cop sits in the alley waiting for cars going northbound to either (1) go through the Devonshire light, (2) speed (the low school speed limit is in effect when school is in session), (3) not stop for people in the crosswalks – both at Devonshire and the one without a light or stop sign that leads to the school. For a month long stretch in April, 2010, he was there every day at 7:30 – 8:30 AM and gave out many, many tickets.
