Highway 403 at Rest Acres Road (Exit 27) and Exit 30

Paris, OntarioMar 04, 20100 Comments

This is the Mother of all Speed traps along Highway 403. BEWARE! The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have even pulled over and impounded vehicles driven by OPP officers in marked cruisers in non-emergency situations. Seriously. The OPP routinely park just east of the Rest Acres Road overpass (Exit 27), or near the Oak Park Road ramp(s) at Exit 30.

Police seem to concrentrate there on Thursdays, and Sundays, but it could be any day of the week.

If you see the exit signs for either Rest Acres Road or Oak Park Road or the GRAND RIVER slow down to between 100km and 115km.

Cruisers park frequently in the Paris High School parking lot also 1 mile north at the Paris Veterinary Building.
