If you get off the main hwy,the police will pull you over to see what you,re up to... actually thats pretty cool,it keeps the bad people out of our town!

Highway 99   Gridley, California

Gridley Police already enforced radar citations enthusiastically, but there is a smaller town, Biggs, on 99 which could not afford their own PD anymore. When the Butte County sheriff's dept. took care of it, there was no problem on the highway. Then the Gridley PD took over, and now they drive between Gridley and Biggs, about 5 miles north, and enforce the speed on the highway, in the unincorprated area too! Not even in their jurisdiction! 65 in a 55 will get you ticketed! Slow down just south of Chico, the CHP hit that hard too!
