Allan and Hall Blvd.   Beaverton, Oregon

Behind the Shell gas station, on the south west corner of the intersection. There are tall bushes that are perfect for hiding police vehicles with radar. The speed limit is 30 MPH. which feels like a snails pace on that road. I drive this section of road twice a day and I see a radar trap there about 1/3 of the time. You will not see the trap until you have already driven past or when you stop for the light at the intersection.

On West side of Hall St. around Hart   Beaverton, Oregon

The speed limit is 40, there are few lights, and when you come over the hill going South it is a downhill trap. Police cars park on the side streets where they cannot be seen by drivers. Expect them there a lot at the end of the month. I do like Beaverton & it has been rated as one of the safest cities in the Northwest.

Beaverton   Beaverton, Oregon

Beaverton is known for over-hiring cops, being broke and taking advantage of its citizens. They shorten traffic yellow lights to a point where it is dangerous. Sting operations like have someone cross the street, stop in the middle and when you go by they ticket you. You can count ticket writing to be at a fever pitch the last five days before the end of the month and the first five days at the beginning of the month, speed traps or not. Chicago cops have called Oregon cops Gun crazy. What does all these things tell you. Outside of politicians and police nice place to live on the whole.

Rigert, between 185 and 170th   Beaverton, Oregon

There are many roads inbetween 181st and 175th where the police sit and radar. The speed limit is 25 on a steep hill so it's hard to stay at that speed, which I'm sure they are very aware of..

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
