First exit going Eastbound (the one to get off at Wal-Mart)   Hood River, Oregon

Both Hood River City Police and OSP park on the on-ramp waiting for those passing through. You cannot see them well because of a big rock wall on the RH side of the on-ramp, especially at night. The highway is a downhill slope and a lot of people get nailed by not paying attention to their speed. Occasionally, they will throw regular drivers a curve and park along the RH side of the highway about half a mile down the same hill.

I-84 Westbound, One mile before town   Hood River, Oregon

Koberg's Beach Rest Area, OSP likes to hide where the rest area meets the freeway. I drive this road quite often and see him there about 50% of the time in the morning. Speed is 65 but with construction happening in the area lately speeds have been down to 55.

Police officer is out of the cruiser using his laser gun on cars in the left lane. The cruiser is well hidden by some bushes. He shoots the gun at the last moment before you can see him.

Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
