SE McLoughlin Blvd (99E) near the city center   Milwaukie, Oregon

I have recently discovered to my dismay that what Milwaukie, Oregon is famous for is its speed traps (you can check this online at many sites). What this amounts to is legalized, institutionalized, banditry. A situation like this can not exist without corruption in the leadership of the city. Ultimately, it is the people and the business community who are responsible for their government. It is for this reason that I am now boycotting the city of Milwaukie and everything in it. I will find another dentist; another grocery store and sporting goods store. I will also find other restaurants to eat at, and another place to service my car. The people of Milwaukie may be able to tolerate their dishonest, thieving government, but I won't. Their most infamous speed trap is on SE McLoughlin Blvd (99E); a four lane divided highway that runs through the heart of the city. They drop the speed limit to 30 mph for a short section of the road.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
