State Highway 213 near Redland Rd Street   Oregon City, Oregon

Highway 213 from Beavercreek Rd to Redland road Northbound going down the hill. The trap is generally toward the bottom of the long downhill stretch of road. They usally work in pairs of two motorcycles. Very easy to exceed the posted 55 MPH speed limit. Seems to be more on the Northbound side of the Highway than the south but have seen it both places

Molalla Avenue near Eastham School   Oregon City, Oregon

This primary road was actually thinned from four lanes to three last year. Since then, the speed trap has been much more vigilant. As you travel north down the hill from the Hilltop strip mall, the posted speed limit is 30 MPH. The police wait near the bottom of the first hill at any of a number of blind parking areas. By then, you've picked up significant speed just coasting and are approaching the turn just before Eastham school. If you haven't been braking down the slope, you're doing 40 to 45 mph, minimum. There are no warning tickets issued!

Hwy 213 (Oregon City Bypass)   Oregon City, Oregon

State AND Clackamas County MC LEO's lurk near the last corner going downhill(northbound) to trap daydreamers who have been travelling about 4% downgrade for nearly 2 miles. They are occasionally near the top on the right side southbound side, but the revenue stream from uphill drivers is not up to the downhill ones, so they are rare southbound.

One mile south of town on 99E   Oregon City, Oregon

Heavy concentration of officers from state, county, and city departments. 40 means 40! And it is easy to go too fast here.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
