Oleson Road near Dover Lane   Raleigh Hills, Oregon

Headed towards Garden Home on Oleson Road - common to find a photo radar van - just past Dover Lane Street sign but before Vermont Intersection. Posted speed is 35mph and the van sits in a downhill area that typically is traveled at 40+ mph unless you brake prior to beginning downhill decline.

Oleson Road   Raleigh Hills, Oregon

In the Portland/Beaverton area, Oleson Road has one of the most rediculous speed limits around. The city has plasterd most of this area with very large speed bumps already, but not for Oleson Road. I have seen a photo-radar van sitting along side the road (in front of peoples' houses.) The posted speed limit is 25mph. My friend got tagged just as we were pulling out of a side street. He was accelerating to get infront of a car, and then, must have been 5 million candel power lit the car up twice. I would love to see someone crash due to the light, and sue the city for this type of 'enforcement'. Be careful on this street, it is definitly not the number one choice for using to go from Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy, to Scholls Ferry Road.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
