Southern Oregon - State Highway 62 between Medford & Crater Lake   Shady Cove, Oregon

Shady Cove is a town of 2150 people located alongside of the Rogue River on the Crater Lake Highway (State Hwy 62). The city police cruise the main street through town continually day and night with constant radar monitering. The posted speed limit drops from 55 to 45 to 35 to 30 in town. 5 mph over the posted speed is a guaranteed ticket and contesting a ticket in the city court almost never results in a reduction.
