Hwy 99   Talent, Oregon

Going south on Hwy 99 the speed changes from 30 MPH to 55 MPH as you pass the town center. There is a short stretch that it is marked as 40. Most people kick it up to 55 in that zone. Be carefull. The cops hang out either at the south city limits or the mobile home park right past the end of the 30 MPH stretch. Going north they sit on the curve where the road splits just before the town center. It drops to 35 just before you hit the curves, but most everyone is going faster. If you get a ticket your going to face the local good-ol'-boy town judge who does not cut anyone out of town any slack. Might as well try to fight the ticket because your going to end up with the maximum fine anyway.

Speeding Tickets

You deserve every speeding ticket you get. You can complain all you want after the fact, but it's true.
Find out why.

It's one of the "great" American past times: complaining about unfair speeding tickets. There are two types of people when it comes to complaining about this particular type of traffic ticket. Which group are you in?
