I-5 Southbound just before exit 293

Tigard, OregonSep 04, 20180 Comments

The speed trap, on the 80 degree sweep corner is a dangerous place to panic drivers into instantaneous braking, and possibly even causing a fatality. Tigard and Beaverton, Oregon are notorious for their tag team judges and ticket issuing cops, to fill the City coffers with fines imposed on the poor citizens of the USA, but mainly the citizens of Oregon. Vote the existing mayor, council and judges out, as they will just keep doing the same thing they have always done, “highway robbery”.

After bridge over old Tigard before Greenburg intersection

As you’re coming over the bridge uphill heading toward Greenburg road, you can’t see around the bend very well. After the cement side blocks end on the right side of the road, a motorcycle cop will be gunning drivers coming over the bridge. Got my first ticket here, 50 in that 35.

I-5 off ramp to 217 North till 99Hwy exit.

Connecting to 217 from I-5 northbound. There are no 55MH speed signs till you get to Greenburg Mall exit. If you go with the flow of traffic wich averages about 65-68MPH, by the time to get to the 99 exit an officer with lazer gun and recording video will tag you with a ticket first for speeding and after you passed 99 exit you will see the Posted 55Mph sign. LOL, Clever little trap they got going. If you go 55MPH in the fast lane most likely you will get rear ended if not, possibly dirty looks from aggresive drivers cutting you off.

Vehicle was on cruise control as problems have been noted before. Ticketed for going 47 in 35 zone while on cruise. Side streets provide plentiful locations for scoping.
