Tumalo, Oregon Speed Traps

Multi agency force consisting of Bend, Redmond, DCSO, and OSP have added Hwy 20 Tumalo to their list of random saturation patrols, and have lowered the speed limit once again to 45mph. You will see multiple vehicles pulled over in both directions by all agencies involved. Also Hwy 20 to the west of Tumalo where the 4 lane turns back into 2.

Officers park on the side of the road, (with their driver-side wheels on the highway) just after you come over a rise in the road. I received a very strict warning for crossing the center lane, (to avoid hitting the officers vehicle) as well as exceeding the posted 45 MPH speed limit. I know of two other people that have experienced the same thing.
