Davidsburg Rd between S Salem Church and Canal

Dover, PennsylvaniaFeb 27, 20110 Comments

Saw 4 people get hit this Sunday morning! Regional is pulling into a priviate drive on the South side of the road zapping people as they head toward Rt 74. Lived here 15 years and never saw this speed trap location

So glad we have no crime in the area which allows our police to hide in the shadows lying in wait. Boy do I feel protected.

A Northern Regional Police Car will sit behind a large tree or at the rear of the
driveway at a lone yellow brick house on the left side of the road. The road has the white lines painted on it as you come over a ridge and directly in front
of the driveway. I have only seen cars traveling west, pulled over.

Harmony Grove Road

On Harmony Grove Road going down the hill past where Clearview Road intersects, Northern Regional police use both an electronic timing device or time between three white lines that are close to the bottom of the hill. They stop you just after crossing the Conowingo Creek in Warrington Townsip. The hill is rather steep to avoid speeding you must either gear down or ride your brakes.

Oakland Street – off of Rt. 74 past Pizza Hut

Dover, PennsylvaniaMar 04, 20100 Comments

Between St. David’s Church all the way west to the four-way stop near Leib Elementary. The greater concentration of stops is towards the east end closer to the church. This is a residential area with a posted speed of 25 although all streets nearby are 35. There doesn’t seem to be a particular time that is worse than another.
