Haverford, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

The posted speed limit is 25 mph, but the typical speed of traffic is closer to 40 mph. Occasionally the police will park on side streets across from the school to catch speeders. This area is also a school zone, and twice a day the limit is reduced to 15 mph.

Police cars sit in the parking lot of the Septa Route 100 trolley station. This parking lot is located on Haverford Avenue between College Avenue and Buck Lane. Officer will follow you and pull you over as you get down the road.

The 5-0 will usually be sitting on one of the side streets right off Cherry Lane by the Merion Cricket Club. They get you when you are coming down the hill. The speed limit is 25.
