On a Sunday morning around 12am, a Kilbuck Township patrol car was sitting on the ramp that leads from I-79 North to Route 65 South. From where he was sitting, he had a perfect view of a set of VASCAR lines. His headlights were off (which I do believe is illegal for speedtraps in PA) and the Kilbuck cars are black, so, there is no way you would even know he was watching until he is in your rear-view with the lights on. About a mile down the road, two marked Kilbuck cops had a vehicle pulled over, presumebly for speeding, on the northbound side of Route 65. Be careful on this road, as all of the communities (Kilbuck, Bellevue, Avalon) view this road as a big revenue source and heavily target it.

As you enter the community of Emsworth on 65 watch the various parking lots all around the road. In addition to the infamous "Black Impala" police cruiser there is a bright Red Impala with a rear spoiler. The only way to tell it apart from a civilian version is its black steel wheels. The police will park it amongst the civilian cars to blend in and then clock you as you go through their trap! For the most part they will radio ahead to a waiting cruiser to pull you over. I suppose they do this because they dont want their little secret Impala to get overexposure and hence loose its sneakyness.(occasionaly though they will use it as an interceptor) I have also (though rarely) seen the car sitting in various driveways along 65.
