Old Lincoln Highway

Malvern, PennsylvaniaFeb 20, 20110 Comments

Old Lincoln Hwy, is a residential road that Connects Rte 30 to Bridge St./King Street.

The Posted Limit changes from 35 mph to 25 mph. It is in the middle of a steep hill, where they run the trap.

The Cops sit incognito on a high & easily accessible vantage point on either
on a side street, sometimes on the left, or the right.

Midway between a Stop sign at the top, and the main street at the bottom of the hill is where they prey, in the 25 mph zone. Guaranteed to be there 2 of 5 business days and at every hour. The cops are bored, and there are plenty of them, so they sit since the PD is over-populated, no need to drive, they would just interfere with each other in this one horse town.

King Street – Two stop signs west of Warren Ave.

Cops sit in the alley next to the Wawa shopping center and nail people at this stop sign all day and night. They get drivers heading west (the SC is on your right).

As a previous poster said, there isn’t much crime in Malvern so these cops really have nothing better so they just hang out at Wawa then go sit in the alley.

Sorry this isn’t a speed trap but hopefully this tip will be allowed and prevent someone from getting a tciket!

Officer sits in the St. Joseph’s in the hills driveway that is within the two painted white lines. I’ve only seen an officer sitting here sometimes on early Saturday mornings.

Most residents of Malvern know about this one,but for all of you out-of-towners here you are. The officer sits on Malvern Ave. well within site of the painted lines that sit on King St. between Malvern Ave. When you are traveling west on King St. you’ll see the officer sitting there when you are within the painted lines and what is even nicer is that they made this speed trap on an incline before you enter the painted lines! If you are traveling west on King St. you won’t see the officer at all since your view of him is blocked by the trees so make sure you aren’t going over 10 miles over the posted 25 m.p.h. or you will see him parked behind you when he pulls you over to accept your donation to the borough! Malvern is not a high crime town so the officer can be sitting there whenever he feels like it even at night with no parking lights on so you have been warned! I’ve never been pulled over by them, but i thought i’d let you all know!
