They set-up their ENRADD unit on the small concrete bridge just south of the Condodoguinet Bridge. They wait at the top of the hill (out of sight) on Green Hill Road to pull-over drivers. The speed limit on this stretch is set artificially low at 30 mph. Middlesex,Pa derives a significant part of its revenue from this type of activity.

The police have had a speed trap in this area for years either plain car or marked car. They back into the "Old Valencia Bar and also where Sandy Hill Road and the Halloween Shop are located. There is always someone pulled over there.

Between the Target Strip mall at Army Heritage Road and S. Middlesex Road. The speed limit goes from 35 to 45 here and there are curves in the road enough that you don’t see the State or local police lying in wait for you.

Middlesex Township is the ultimate speed trap town. The township gets a high amount of its income from traffic tickets, and most of that money goes right back to the police department. A radar detector is useless as local police departments in Pennsylvania are not allowed to use radar. Speed limits in Middlesex township are posted unreasonably low and enforcement is common. I don’t know of a specific location, but motorists should beware when driving through Middlesex township, especially on Lisburn road and Middlesex road.

Speeding anywhere in this township is begging for trouble. This townships PD is on constant speed trap mode. This township receives 75% of its annual income from citations. There has been much debate lately from township residents because their PD spends more time writing traffic citations then solving crime. This township rates in my book as ridiculous.
