When crossing the bridge into Olyphant there is sometimes a local sitting in the mechanic’s parking lot just past the light on the right across from the bank parking lot.

The locals set up a car in the parking lot of the car dealership across from the post office. They are there most Fridays and Saturdays nights between 7:00 and 9:00 PM. Probabl other nights to, but I know they are there than. Check the white lines on the pavement!

State Route 6 West near Mile Marker 5

For those familiar with the Robert P. Casey Highway (State Route 6 west), there is a speed trap set by the PA state police. If heading on 6 west toward Scranton-Wilkes-Barre, state trooper is behind a knoll in the median. It impossible to see the patrol car until past it (too late as I found out). It is about 1 1/2 miles after Jessup on ramp and at about mile marker 5 about 1/2 mile prior to E. Lackawanna Avenue Olyphant Exit (where I was stopped). There are no warnings and I see people pulled over here several times a week on my way to work (mostly early to mid-afternoon to evening).
