Palmerton, Pennsylvania Speed Traps

Police car sits on east side of railroad bridge concrete support, east bound cars cannot see them untili they are right on top of them.

Cops sit on the right shoulder of rt. 248 east between the Palmerton cloverleaf and the cantilever. The area is protected by overgrowth and billboards so you won’t see them until it’s too late.

They’ll park either at the park entrance (there are white lines on the road here) or just north in the parking lot.

Cops will sit accross from RD Honda and wait for cars entering the highway. Most vehicles speed up when entering the highway after just leaving a posted 25 m.p.h. area. Not realizing the speed limit only increases AFTER you have passed the new speed sign for that area.

Cops will sit in the parking lot of the bus station close to the building so they cannot be seen by incoming traffic.
