Speed Trap at North Avenue, Antioch, IL

- Description: North Avenue has an "s" curve that merges it with State Line Rd. On a recent early Sunday morning, I saw an Antioch police SUV in the trees/grass east of the southern part of the S curve. He was facing eastbound traffic on North Avenue and clearly had nothing else to do at that hour but look for speeders. There is a slight hill on North Avenue there and the speed limit is 45 or 50 MPH, so it was difficult to see him before it was too late. Thankfully my radar detector warned me.
